Description
Up for auction is a one-of-a-kind collection of Rabbit In The Moon vinyl/ records. This took me a very long time to assemble and now I am parting ways with it. Again I cannot explain to you how much these are worth. I have no idea if there should be a price put on them, but I am going to have to determine what the price should be. So without further adue, I am going to give my best description of each record. 1) Anarch-E - Punk Rock E.P. - HAL 001 a) Hardcore Mutha F**ka / Hardcore Mutha F**ka (Straightedge Mix) b) Give It Up Punk (Scratchhavoc Mix) / Give It Up Punk 2) Rabbit In The Moon - O.B.E. - HAL 002 a) O.B.E. - Out-of-Body Experience (Phase One) b) Freak To The Beat (Anarch-E Mix) This record was a DJ promo showcasing the normal label with a Rabbit stamp label on the other side. There is writing over the Rabbit sticker on the reverse side. It says "Rabbit" and then "Who is Jeff K? Well, anyway thanks 4 the support (Peace Symbol) MONK" Yes, that is correct, the album is signed by Monk himself. The jacket is a bit worn, but things are really in good condition considering how old the record is. The jacket also has a DJ Promo Rabbit stamp and label. 3) Anarch-E - HAL 003 a) Krazy Train (Scratchhavoc Mix) / Rize Above b) Krazt Train (Loco-Motive Mix) 4) Rabbit in The Moon - Phases of an Out-of-Body Experience - HAL 005 White Label Pressing a) Phase 1 - First Contact / Phase 3 - Burning Spear b) Phase 5 - Enlightenment / Phase 7 - Original / Phase 9 - Lunar Eclipse This is a genuine rarity to find. There is no way to know how many of these white label pressing were handed out or how many still exist in great condition. The label has magenta rabbit stamps on both sides with a phone number from the Tampa Bay area on it reading " O.B.E. 813 239-3622" and one side has "McClure" (aka Monk) written on it as well. The record is in excellent condition and might I add the pressing is much more rare due to it being catalogued as HAL 005 instead of the HK 005 on Hardkiss Records. 5) Rabbit In The Moon - Phases of an Out-of-Body Experience - HK 005 White Label Test Pressing a) Phase 1 - First Contact / Phase 3 - Burning Spear b) Phase 5 - Enlightenment / Phase 7 - Original / Phase 9 Lunar Eclipse Another rarity is this Test Pressing on Hardkiss Records of Phases of an Out-of-Body Experience. One of the label sides has the white label from Rainbo Records Test Pressing from Santa Monica, California, with the Hardkiss "H" stamp, and HK005 Rabbit in the Moon and Moon are written on the label side. The opposite side has the 5 naked women that make the skull as seen on other Hardkiss Records' labels. It also comes witha paper label on the inside of the record sleeve that tells about the release. This is a very rare bird once again. 6) Rabbit in the Moon - Deeper / Dusk - HAL 006 - Purple Limited Vinyl Signed a) Deeper b) Dusk There is NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! Make no mistake! This is one of the most RARE records on the planet. These DO NOT come available for sale very often and were very very limited. This record alone has sold for thousands before. It has written on the Dusk side " Rabbit in the Moon" " The future is not ours to see what will be will.... Confucius" " The Natural Born Pervert MONK" "OK You win! Jeff w/ AK" Outstanding record truly and still in great shape. This record is one that will add instant value to a collection and will be a piece that almost nobody owns on this planet. A true GEM! 7) Hazed (Dave Christophere & Nick Simpson) - Disconnected EP - HAL 007 White Label Pressing a) Norgan b) Percussion / Disconnected Yet another rare white label pressing. The record is white labeled on both sides and there is a black/ gray Rabbit stamp on one of the sides. Truly unbelieveable record. 8) God Within - The Phoenix - White Label 2x12" - HK 006 - Hardkiss Records a) Someday My Plan Will Crash b) Throw Your Guns (rmx by dramaboy) c) Steal from the Rich (rmx by robbie) d) River and Rain (rmx by Rabbit in the Moon) 9) Hardkiss - Delusions of Grandeur - White Label 2 x 12" Test Pressing - HKLP 001 a) Rabbit in the Moon - Out-of-Body Experience (Original) / The Drum Club - Drums Are Dangerous (Drugs Are Dangerous) b) God Within - Raincry (Spiritual Thirst) / God Within - The Phoenix (River And Rain) c) Top Secret Track By ??? / Rabbit in the Moon - Out-of-Body Experience (Burning Spear) d) God Within - The Phoenix (Throw Your Guns Edit) / Hawke - 3 Nudes (Having Sax on Acid) This is a splendid test pressing of one of the greatest double pack vinyls ever released. I have never ever heard of this test pressing being available before. The labels are white on both sides with one side reading RTI Record technology Incorporated Test Pressing. It is dated Mar 20 1995 and has the catalogue number of HKLP - 001 on it. This is yet another truly phenominal pickup in this auction, once again showcasing the Out-of-Body Experience track. OK...All of the records in this group have been listed and I tried to do the best I could to showcase the labels in the pictures. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
